I barely made it in my elementary and secondary education. Moving on to tertiary education I remembered I did not have a mentor nor anyone to rely upon.
As I moved into the corporate world as a fresh graduate, I did not know what I actually love or want to pursue in my career. At that time, I did not have any career coach to guide me along too.
I believe many of you who are reading this might resonate with me.
My turning point came when I landed on my third job to switch from being an engineer to a human resource professional when the company assigned me a mentor. The experience was unbelievable and transformational. Later on, the company started to engage an external coach for me when I was promoted to a first-time manager. This was when I saw the breakthroughs in my career and even until now it continues. The rest is history.
Now I am serving as a volunteer mentor in many prestige universities in Singapore as well as coaching students to working professionals. My vision is to journey with them to reach their fullest potential or even land on their dream roles in the shortest possible time.
